The first annual Wealth/Stack conference wrapped up on Sept. 10, but the buzz is still going strong. After 2 ½ days of exciting content, incredible tech demos, and some of the best networking events the industry has seen in a while, it’s easy to see why the anticipation is growing for next year.
Wealth/Stack’s conference content covered a range of topics, but primarily focused on the business of being an RIA, and what it will take to compete in the future.
Keynote talks from Shirl Penney, Dani Fava, Peter Mallouk and Joe Duran helped set the stage and bring the future into focus. Attendees left with a better understanding of the direction the industry is going in, and how to stay ahead of the curve.
Of course, Wealth/Stack was not strictly business all the time. The first night, for example, was capped by the Orion welcome party. This tailgate-themed party featured the Sunday Night Kickoff to the NFL season, traditional backyard games, great food and even better drinks.
The networking continued Monday night when the attendees of Wealth/Stack were invited by NaviPlan to join them at The Mint, downtown Scottsdale’s premier nightclub. The event did not disappoint, with a packed dance floor as legendary DJ Skribble provided the soundtrack for the night.
Of course, one can’t talk about Wealth/Stack without taking the time to mention the Twittersphere and great buzz it added to the onsite experience, as advisors from across the country were finally able to connect the Twitter personalities with the real people behind them.
With plans already underway for 2020, we’re excited to make year two better in every possible way!
