CEO, Co-Founder at Chinatown Bureau
Paul is CEO and Co-Founder of the Chinatown Bureau, a New York City based consultancy dedicated to helping businesses address 21st century challenges at the "intersection of strategy and technology". I first met Paul working at Informa as our Director of New Media. He then moved on to be the Group Account Director of Digital at Hudson Rouge where he helped lead the rebrand of the Lincoln MKZ car. Remember all those funny commercials with Matthew McConaughey? That was Hudson Rouge's doing. In my last interview with Paul we spoke all about that stuff. But being the mover and shaker that Paul is I got a chance to catch up with him once again to discuss his 2 year old business that he started from the ground up. (Paul on LinkedIn)
Because we learn what the "idea" of Chinatown has to do with technology and strategy. And we talk about the "sprint mentality". And we see how design integrates into a rapid-fire agile approach. And we talk about designing customer experience (arguably today's most valuable asset). And how design integrates emotion and utility. And how designing enterprise is about solving problems for a new global perspective. And because Paul is not only thinking about today's challenges but about the challenges of 2030.
